What is the deadline to RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Sunday, June 14, 2026. To finalize our guest count with the resort and wedding vendors, RSVPs cannot be accepted after this date. Guests who do not RSVP by the deadline will be considered unable to attend and will not be added back to the guest list.

Guests should plan to arrive on February 20, 2027, and depart on February 23, 2027. Our wedding ceremony will take place on February 22, 2027

No. Ocean Eden Bay is an adults-only resort, so only guests 18 or older can attend.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. A valid passport is required to travel to Jamaica. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates (so after August 2027).

Do I have to stay at Ocean Eden Bay?

Yes. All wedding guests must stay at Ocean Eden Bay from February 20–23, 2027 in order to attend wedding events, as required by resort policy.

Plus ones are by invitation only. If a plus one is reserved for you, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation.

Can I set up a payment plan for my room?

Answer

Yes! To secure your reservation, a $50 deposit per person is required by June 29, 2026. After your deposit is made, you may pay the remaining balance at a schedule that works best for you, as long as your reservation is paid in full by December 24, 2026.

Does Ocean Eden Bay provide airport transportation?

Answer

Transportation to and from the resort can be arranged through our travel agent. When booking your room on the booking site, simply select the round-trip airport transportation add-on option. Alternatively, taxis are readily available at the airport for transportation to and from the resort. We recommend arranging transportation in advance for a smooth and stress-free arrival and departure experience.

How should I decide if I can attend?

We encourage guests to review their schedules and finances and make the decision that works best for them. We recognize that this is a destination wedding with associated costs, and we completely understand if you are unable to attend.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We will not be having a traditional gift registry—your presence and celebration with us is more than enough. In lieu of a traditional gift registry, we are happy to accept gift cards for those who would like to bless us in that way. Any contribution is entirely optional and deeply appreciated.

Can we take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

No, we will be having an unplugged wedding ceremony. To help us create an intimate, distraction-free experience, we will collect cell phones as guests are seated for the ceremony. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes. Don't worry—our professional photographer and videographer will capture all of the special moments. Cell phones are welcome during all other wedding festivities, including the welcome events and reception; we simply ask that they not be used during the actual wedding ceremony.

Lightweight, tropical clothing for the resort is recommended. We’ll share more details closer to the wedding, including attire for specific events.

What should guests wear to the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire for the ceremony and encourage guests to wear colors from our palette: gold, champagne, yellow, sunset orange, and deep brown. We will be posting official color samples and additional attire guidance after formal invitations have been sent and RSVPs have been received, so you can confidently plan your outfit.

Yes! The resort offers hair and makeup services for an additional cost. If you’re interested, you can coordinate directly with our travel agent to schedule these services during your stay.
