Maid of Honor
The bride’s favorite sister. I recently graduated from Gonzaga University and am working at Lewis & Clark Law School. My free time is often spent doing pottery, making stained glass, or spending time outdoors with my dogs. I am honored to be a part of this wedding, not just as part of the bridal party but as a testament to a lifelong friendship.
Man of Honor
In scholastic sanctums where our saga took flight, Devin, the erudite esprit, and Hannah, a beacon of light. A dalliance of hearts, though not of the flesh, In platonic perfection, our souls enmesh. Through epochs and jests, our alliance did soar, A camaraderie profound, at its very core. As matrimonial September beckons her near, Our chronicle of kinship, all hold dear. A toast to the bond, unyielding and clever, Devin and Hannah, in friendship, forever. 🥂 And in her wedding party, I stand with pride, Excited for the journey, as I stand by her side.
Bridesmaid
Hannah and I have been friends for 22 years. She is the reason why I met my fiancé (thank you for that). I moved to Canada about 2 years ago and live on Vancouver Island. I am an engineer and work in construction management. In my spare time I enjoy doing home renovations, reading, and hiking. It is a privilege to be included in this wedding.

Hi there! My name is Tasha. I know Hannah through my husband, Zack, who went to high school with her and RK. I really got to know Hannah when I moved into a house with her and three boys (RK, Zack, and Aaron G). As with most cool girls that I want to claim as my friend, I was immediately intimidated by Hannah. She was like the real life “New Girl” with her quirky hobbies and interests, fantastic sense of humor, and genuinely caring personality. When I finally worked up the courage to talk to her more, we found that we shared a lot of interests and enjoyed each other’s company. Our friendship blossomed🌻I’m truly grateful for all the craft dates, girl talks, and weekend adventures with this incredible lady. And man, oh man did she pick a good one! RK and Hannah are such a great match and I am so excited to be a part of their special day! I love you both very much ❤️

I'm beyond excited to be standing by Hannah's side as one of her bridesmaids on her special day. I've known Hannah for over 4 years, and I couldn't be happier to witness her embark on this incredible journey with RK. Hannah and RK both went to High School with my Husband, Garrett (as did many in our friend group). One of my fondest memories see of Hannah and RK was hiking through an ice storm to meet up at a local bar. We had been trapped home for several days from the snow and ice when RK jokingly told us they were walking to a local bar in Sellwood. We decided why not try and join them. Garrett and I walked an hour across icy roads (and slid down a few hills) before reaching the bar and spending the evening hanging out. Can’t wait for more impromptu double dates with the newly weds!

I'm Kary! I met RK when I joined the "friend group" 7ish years ago. He is kind and funny has always been one of my favorite house guests because never leaves a mess. I honestly can't recall when I first met Hannah. In my mind she just appeared one day and has been the life of the party ever since. She is creative, supportive, and a fantastic gift giver. I know that spending any amount of time with her will lead to laughter. These two people are so well matched in energy and humor, and they go above and beyond for their friends. I'm thrilled to be a part of their day, celebrating that they will remain roommates evermore.
Best Man
All you really need to know about me is that, at least in our friend group, I’m known for having remarkably terrible taste. I think Cats is the greatest musical ever staged, I order vanilla ice cream, and I prefer American Cheese on my burger. Since we met in High School, it’s these things—these inconsequential little controversies—that really tell you about my friendship with Alex. He’s the kind of guy to not only remember your opinion, but go out of his way to make it meaningful. When Hannah, Alex, and I lived together, I realized the two were cut from the same block of cheese. My least controversial opinion ever: Hannah and Alex are going to have an incredible marriage filled with adventure and love, and I’m so thankful I get to be a part of their special day.
Groomsman
James is Alex's favorite and only brother. If Alex had 47 other brothers, James would still be the favorite. He is seven years older than him, so it wasn't until they were young adults that they were able to connect on a deeper level. James has a masters degree in Business Administration and has been a licensed contractor and real estate developer for the past 5 years. He enjoys wood working, baking, spending time at their place on the coast, and hanging out with the family. James currently lives in Oregon City, OR with his wife and two children, Emilia (9) and Luca (6).

Alex and I have been friends so long that calling him Alex instead of RK sounds wrong and makes RK upset. RK(and Hannah) and I first met in highschool where, like many highschoolers, we played lots of video games. One of my favorite memories was when RK and I stayed up with a couple other friends all night playing video games, specifically all of Halo 3. Throughout the years we shared more memories through college going on trips to each other's colleges and keeping in contact online. Once RK and Hannah found out that they actually are in love with each other, My Wife, Kelly and I moved nearby and went on many impromptu double dates. I am more than excited that my dear friends RK and Hannah are going to tie the knot! I can’t wait to share in their special day!

As I become longer in the tooth, I find the desire to reminisce grows. Looking backwards at my experiences with the wise, and profound perspective of a thirty year old man child, I notice things that were lost to a younger version of me. For example, I couldn’t tell you exactly when, exactly where, or exactly how my friendship with Alex started. The when and where are probably lost to the annals of time, but what I can tell you is exactly why we are friends. Alex RK has an unstinting approach to friendship with a heavy touch of telling you how it is. It is the perfect combination of qualities. I’ve known Hannah for nearly as long as I’ve known RK. For years our social circles were deeply intertwined so I heard many stories of Hannah and her adventures. Everyone spoke with love and the tales were usually quite chucklesome. It wasn’t until after college that our circles truly joined and we began our own friendship. The stories do not do Hannah credit. She is open, caring, and of course hilarious.

Alex (RK) and I met as sweet young lads of 14 in a math class at La Salle. After making a terrible first impression (as 14 year old boys often do), it took several more years of forced proximity and geometry teacher assigned partnerships before we began to bond together. As we entered college, I considered RK one of my closest friends. We were both a year or two older than many of our soon to be lifelong friends (including his future fiancé) and both had of us had moved to schools without a lot of friends on campus, so the time I spent with him playing games, ripping on him for watching anime, and just talking about our lives was incredibly important to me. We’ve been close ever since and despite years of bickering about pointless nonsense, getting on each other’s nerves while we lived together, and me (to my eternal embarrassment) rudely commenting on Hannah’s haircut one time, he has asked me to be in his wedding party. I could not be happier for both RK and Hannah, I love them more than I can ever tell them and can’t wait to see the life they build together.

RK (or Alex, to the uninitiated) and I have known each other since high school. I have fond memories of broken keyboards (and hand) and unexpected house visits from those early years. But I didn't get to really know RK until we lived together for 3 years after college. Glad that he tolerated me after the first year, we were lucky enough to be in the market for a roommate at the same time as Hannah, and the rest is history. I've been so lucky to watch their relationship grow from a budding friendship to a perfect pairing, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for them.
