We first met in 2016 at our church, not realizing at the time how important that moment would become in our lives. Not long after, life took us in different directions—one of us returned to college while the other moved away—so we lost touch for a season. Even so, that early connection stayed with us, quietly shaping the story that was still unfolding. In mid 2023, our paths crossed again when we reconnected during a visit back at church. Soon after, we began spending more time together, starting with a Bible study on Zoom that brought us back into each other’s lives. What began as a renewed friendship naturally deepened, and by late 2023, we took the step from close friends to officially dating. Since then, we’ve been inseparable, growing together in love and faith, and we’re excitedly getting married.
