💛 Our Story High School – Philippines Drixie and Melvin first met as schoolmates in high school in the Philippines. At the time, they were simply familiar faces in the same hallways, never imagining that their story would one day become something so much more. 2012 – A New Chapter Years later, life brought them both to the United States. Each began building their own future and chasing their dreams. A Summer in the Bay Area One summer, while visiting the Bay Area, Drixie asked Melvin to hang out as friends. They went to dinner with her friends, catching up and laughing like no time had passed. During dinner, Melvin tried to secretly take a photo of Drixie but his flash accidentally went off. Caught in the moment, Drixie laughed and said, “Let’s just take a selfie.” What felt like a small, funny moment quietly became the beginning of their love story. Seven Years of Long Distance At the time, Drixie was living in Los Angeles while Melvin was in San Francisco. While Drixie focused on building her career and pursuing her goals, their relationship continued to grow across miles. Through late night calls, FaceTime dates, long drives, flights, and airport reunions, they spent seven years learning that love is not just about being in the same place it’s about choosing each other, again and again. Distance never made their love smaller it only made it stronger. Forever Begins After years of loving each other across cities, Drixie and Melvin are finally closing the distance. What started as two schoolmates, a simple dinner, and one unexpected flash has turned into a love story built on patience, growth, and unwavering love.
