Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! All guests staying at Barrows House and Dorset Inn have access to transportation between the various properties, as well as to Manchester. For guests staying at the Hampton Inn and Aspen Manchester, a continuous shuttle will run all night to and from the venue and after party. Schedule to follow. For those staying at hotels we do not have a room block at or Airbnbs we suggest taking an Uber or driving to one of the hotels where a shuttle will pick up. There is also parking available at our venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire- cocktail dresses, LBD, dressy pantsuits for women and suits for men. Our ceremony will be outdoors in a field, so ladies, choose your shoes wisely! Note- Bridesmaids are wearing sage green and olive green so these may be good colors to avoid!

Are the ceremony and reception the same venue?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will happen just outside the reception area.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors as well as the cocktail hour. The reception and after party will be indoors.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a welcome party at the Barrows House on Friday, September 22. All guests are welcome to attend to kick off the weekend. We will also be hosting an after party at the Barrows House from 11:00 PM- on. Think comfy clothes, live music, late night snacks and bevs. Transportation will be provided to the after party, as well as to the various hotels.

Due to space constraints, as well as that our event is open bar, we are unable to accommodate children or those under 21 at our wedding.

Due to constraints on the space we will not be able to accommodate plus ones unless specified on your invitation!
