Things To Do

If you are able, we highly recommend arriving early and soaking up the beauty of Montana! Here are some of our favorite spots and activities in Livingston and the surrounding area.

Chico Hot Springs

Pray, MT 59065

Relax in the hot springs and day spa, kick back and enjoy a beer at the Chico Saloon, stroll through the gardens on site, or enjoy a horseback ride through Paradise Valley!

Yellowstone National Park

We'd be remiss if we didn't mention Yellowstone National Park! Just 53 minutes away from Chico Hot Springs lies the second-largest national park. Henry and I saw many bears, bison, and geothermal pools in Yellowstone on our 6-month road trip. Take a ride through Lamar Valley, walk the boardwalks through the geothermal features, or have dinner at the Old Faithful Inn.

Glacier National Park

MT

5 hours from Livingston lies Glacier National Park! If you are making a trip of our wedding weekend and have the spare time, this park is a MUST. We both agree that it may have been the most beautiful spot we visited on our trip. Driving on Going-to-the-Sun Road, you will encounter breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, bears, lakes, and numerous other wildlife. Our favorite hikes at the park were St. Mary Falls and Hidden Lake.

Murray Bar

201 West Park Street, Livingston, MT 59047

Enjoy a drink at the historic Murray Hotel!

The Mint Bar and Grill

102 North Main Street, Livingston, MT 59047

Try the famous Mint lemonade and delicious food!

Pine Creek Falls

Pine Creek Road, Livingston, MT 59047

A beautiful 3-mile hike in Paradise Valley.
