Our local watering hole. We've spent many nights here with friends, enjoying wonderful drinks and tasty food. We highly recommend the gyro nachos, fried Brussels sprouts, pork wings and their burgers. Be sure to bring a few quarters and get an egg out of their machine for a little (and often weird) surprise!
Craft cocktails sold by the bottle, no mixing required! You can also enjoy a drink at their location, though seating is limited.
There are far too many great breweries here in Portland for us to name them all. Follow the link for some of the best spots PDX has to offer! Cider more your thing? We highly suggest Portland Cider House on Hawthorne Blvd. or Schilling Cider House on 10th Ave.
Looking to play some old school arcade games? Ground Kontrol is the place for you! Plenty of arcade and pinball machines to spend your time with, as well as alcohol and food. All ages are only welcome until 4:30 p.m. then it's 21+ only.
Another lovely arcade bar catering to the child in all of us. Food, alcohol and a variety of games available, just like Ground Kontrol, but here all ages are welcome until 8 pm.
John's Marketplace offers hundreds of local and imported beers sold by the can and bottle, as well as draft options to enjoy at the location. A great place if you're looking to try the many breweries Portland and the surrounding area has to offer. There is also food cart pod on site for those who want some food with their beverage!
Local arts and crafts market on the waterfront in downtown Portland. There are also plenty of food vendors on site. The max rail public transportation will take you right into the heart of it. It is also open on Sundays if you cant beat the hangover on Saturday!
Who doesn't love a good brunch spot? Good thing Portland has so many to offer! Some of these spots are very popular, so expect a wait or even send someone an hour or so early to reserve a spot on the list. We listed these spots by possible wait times, though these are just guesses! 1-2 hour waits: Screen Door, Mothers, Jam on Hawthorne, Break and Ink, Stepping Stone Cafe. 1 hour or less: Midpoint Food & Drink, Bar Carlo, Delta Cafe, Lutz Tavern, Waffle Window.
The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Plenty of activities for the kiddos and adults to explore!
Yup. It's a Zoo, nestled in the hills above Portland.
An absolutely stunning place if a quiet stroll is more your speed.
It is super easy to take a day trip to the beautiful Oregon Coast. We highly recommend spending an extra day (or more) if you can to enjoy what has become one of our favorite things about Oregon.
Oregon has waterfalls and beautiful views all around. Including Multnomah Falls only twenty minutes east!
