Family and Friends, As you are all aware, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Allie and I had to reschedule our wedding that originally planned for March 28 2020. The “Stay at home order” implemented by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is set to expire on Friday June 12 2020, so we are proceeding as planned with our rescheduled ceremony and reception. The wedding and reception will now take place on Saturday June 20, 2020 at 4:30pm at Oak Orchard- 1318 Emanuel Church Rd, Brunswick, GA 31523 (same location as originally planned) We hope that you will be able to make it to our big day to celebrate with us! Please let Allie or Myself know if you plan to attend or if you have any questions. Thanks
I wouldn’t go straight to ‘High School Sweethearts”, but we gave it a shot as sophomores in high school, it just never really went anywhere… But as the years went by, I never really got her out of my head.. she was “the one who got away”. It took almost 10 years and my best man giving me a swift kick in the butt, but I finally worked up the confidence to ask her out for dinner. We sat there for hours just talking, laughing, and catching up... Having been friends for so long, we were able to just be ourselves, neither one of us having to impress the other. I fell in love all over again... I knew that night she was the one. I just had to convince her of the same...
We had been friends for, what felt like forever. Seriously... since like 2nd grade. We stayed friends all though out school and even kept in touch after we graduated, but we hadn't hung out in quite a while. Then one day, out of the blue, he texted me asking me to dinner... I toyed with the idea at first but quickly got a "He's offering to make you dinner, and you're going to say 'no'... What's wrong with you?!" from my best friend. So I decided, why not.. When I left that night, I remembered thinking "there might be something to this after all". A few days later, we went out for coffee and talked about what we both wanted in a relationship. He made it so easy to just laugh, have fun, and be myself, On September 8, 2018, I realized there was definitley something to this, and we decided to give it a shot...
After we met up for dinner that night, we both kind of knew where this was headed. It wasn't even a week later and we made it official, we were dating. 7 short months later, I popped the question and she said yes... and that leads us to here. In just a few short months, we'll start our lives together and 'Man and wife' and we would love for you all to be there with us! We cant wait to celebrate our day with all of you.
