Joining us on our special day?

We first met at Liberty University in 2021 because we were in the same group for our clinicals in the nursing program. As we became involved in the same circle of friends, we quickly got to know each other better. After being friends for a year, our "friendship" admittedly looked more like flirting, and in 2022 we went on our first official date!

Right before the fall semester began, Drew and I "spontaneously" decided to go to the botanical gardens in Richmond Virginia where we went on our first date (little did I know he had planned this way in advance). We were supposed to walk around for a while, but it was about to thunderstorm, so Drew suggested we leave to get dinner and come back later. On our way to the car, we came across a beautiful gazebo in the Italian gardens that Drew had set up and decorated earlier that morning. There, he got down on one knee & asked me to marry him, and the rest is history! From there we made plans to be married in May, but after Drew's school plans were changed, we prayerfully reconsidered our timeline and are now excitedly awaiting a dreamy December wedding!
