Tiffany remembers the first time she saw Andrew. He walked into the boba store that she was working at and took off his motorcycle helmet at the door and looked right at her. She noticed he would come in at least twice a week from then on. She noted multiple things about Andrew. First, not only did he drive a motorcycle, but he had a bright blue car that she would start looking out for. Second, she would always ask if he wanted a stamp card and he would always say yes and he would forget to bring it every time he came. Lastly, one of his favorite orders was a passion fruit green tea with rainbow jelly, but mostly, he'd order a honey milk tea with boba. Andrew remembers the first time he saw Tiffany. He walked into a boba store down the street from his grandma's house and noticed a cute girl with bangs working. Although, this was much sooner than Tiffany had seen Andrew since he didn't have a motorcycle at this time. He would proceed to come in at least twice a week to see her. He made multiple efforts to see Tiffany. First, he made a connection that any time there was a tan Toyota Camry in the parking lot, Tiffany was working. So he always looked out for her car to see if she was there. Second, he'd come in every time he was about to go to class so he conveniently had a reason to pick up boba. Lastly, even though the drinks and food sucked, he'd go anyway. Over the course of a year, Tiffany would often reference to Andrew as "Honey Milk Tea" to her co-workers, because she didn't know his name and even once dramatically fell in the kitchen, because she was so excited he came in that day. During that same year, Andrew would tell his cousins about the cute girl at the boba store and take them to go see her. He even had to take them twice because she wasn't there the first time they went. During their short meetings, Tiffany and Andrew would make small talk about the weather and how they were both going to colleges in the area. Then one day, after very many months of small talk, Andrew came into the store the day after his birthday and asked Tiffany, "Do you want to hang out this Saturday?" Tiffany and Andrew would then proceed to spend the next months getting to know each other beyond just the weather and their schools. They bonded over having similar childhoods. Tiffany being born on the East Coast and moving to the West Coast as a young child and Andrew being born on the West Coast and moving to the East Coast as a young child. They bonded over how Tiffany and Andrew's cousins went to the same high school as he was often tasked with picking them up. They even bonded over playing the same obscure multiplayer video game since they were 10 years old. As they both wondered if there was a chance they had already run into each other, they knew they had found the other end of their invisible string.
