Surfers Beach
Half Moon Bay is full of famous surf spots. While the water is a bit too cold to swim, this is a great place to enjoy the sounds of the ocean and try to watch some surfers on big waves.

Beaches and Trails

Half Moon Bay is stunning, so you can't go wrong with any beach you choose! :) Some of our favorites are Devils Slide (old Highway 1), Grey Whale Cove, and Linda Mar (which has tide pools with starfish).
San Francisco
Depending on traffic, San Francisco is between a 30 minute and a hour drive from Half Moon Bay. If you feel like taking a day trip into the city, there will be plenty for you to explore!
