If you ask us, we would tell you that we've been friends for as long as we can remember, but if you were to ask Kelly, Drew's Mom, she would tell you it all begin with a tour of the Cathedral School in 4th grade. Drew was transferring schools, and during a tour of the Cathedral School, Ryan was assigned as Drew and Kelly's student ambassador-- he walked up proudly and proclaimed, "Hi, I'm Ryan Herget. President of the 4th Grade Class!" Drew was smitten. Throughout the years, we stayed great friends-- long middle school phone calls, bike rides to each other's houses, awkward cotillion dances and everything in between. As the two grew up, they went their own ways-- Drew to Charleston, Oxford, Nashville, Ryan to Oxford, New York, and Dallas-- but always kept tabs on one another. It was at our 10 year high-school reunion in October of 2019, that we realized maybe we really were more than "just friends." We were engaged 6 months later, and married on October 16th 2020 in a private ceremony in Dallas, almost one year to the day of our reunion.
