We’re Getting Married!

Our Story began when we first met through our mutual friends (now Best Man and Maid of Honor) at the Marion Oaks Fire Station while Drew was on duty. We did not pursue each other right away since the timing was not right. A year passes by, yet another encounter happens for Drew and Rica. This time, they were eating at their mutual friend’s house having Pho not realizing that they were sharing laughter and making memories togther. Fast forward to a few months later, Drew and Rica catch up again unexpectedly. They began building a strong friendship, to becoming bestfriends, to then becoming girlfriend and boyfriend. Each day that passes by they became inseparable. Friends and Family could feel the love and joy that comes from their relationship. Though it is a happy and loving relationship, they both had theirs ups and downs. Yet, still love prevailed. Drew started to learn the culture, traditions, and language of the Philippines where Rica was originally from. They both love to go to church together as God is the center of their relationship. A year later, Drew would then decide to take thier relationship to the highest level in proposing to Rica. He surprises her with a little getaway to Clearwater not knowing the upcoming surprise to come. Drew had secretly planned for friends and family to meet them on the beach during sunset where he would pop the question. Rica is known to adore taking pictures of the sunset and the couple doing mini photoshoots so this was not anything new to her. After petals of roses, statues of candles, and signs of "Marry Me," following pictures of the couple--Drew pops the unawaited question. Rica says "YES" as tears fall and thier family and friends would be sharing those tears too. A huge crowd in the background cheering for them. And the rest, as they say, is history.
