YOUR FLIGHT

We recommend you fly in and out of Mexico City International Airport (MEX) on Thursday February 13th and Monday February 17th, as events will take place all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please schedule your flights in and out of MEX. Santa Lucia (NLU) is a new airport that opened in 2022 but is located 1 hour north of the city and is 1 hour further away from the venue. There will be no organized transport scheduled from there.

Our wedding planners will be organizing the transportation to and from the hacienda. Please email both your outbound and return flight itinerary (airline, flight number, arrival time) to our wedding planners at services@champagne-events.com.mx and they will provide you with the appropriate details regarding pick up time and location at the Mexico City airport (MEX) and departure time from the hacienda for your trip back. If you plan on arriving a few days early and/or staying for a few extras days to explore Mexico City, please provide them with your hotel or Airbnb address so they can assist with your transportation needs to and from the hacienda. It is an hour and 45-minute drive from the airport to the hacienda. Option 1) Shuttle: $50USD/person one way. Option 2) Private Car: If you would prefer to have a private car (or have a very late arrival time) our wedding planners will schedule a dependable, trustworthy private car for you. $175USD for the car. Option 3) Ubers and cabs are available from the airport to the hacienda and are $135USD+ but can be very unreliable. Note: Ubers are NOT available from the hacienda back to the airport and cabs are EXTREMELY LIMITED from the hacienda back to the airport.

All guests will be staying at the on-site at Hacienda Vista Hermosa. Note: You must email or call the hotel to reserve your room, as we have blocked the rooms it will say there is no availability online. Hacienda Vista Hermosa Contact Details: Telephone: +52 (734) 342 9040 Email: reservashvh@haciendavistahermosa.com.mx When you check in, you will be asked if you want to open a VOUCHER on your credit card. We recommend doing 3,000 pesos/person. This gives you the convenience of charging items directly to your room during your stay. When you purchase food/drink, your waiter will bring you the bill and you just need to sign, add your room number and write in your tip amount. When you check out, you will be presented with copies of the receipts that were billed directly to your room. CASH/PESOS: There is no ATM at the Hacienda. We suggest you have 700 pesos on hand to cover tips for the bellboy, maid and pressing clothes. Check-in 3:00pm; Checkout 1:00pm. If you require an earlier check-in, let our wedding planners know and they make a special request with the hotel. SUGGESTED TIPS: Bellhop ($2.50 (50 pesos) for bags) and housekeeper ($5 (100 pesos) per day for a double). Tips for bar and restaurant are appreciated at 10%. If you pay for your food/drink with a credit card, let your waiter know to add the tip BEFORE he runs your credit card. IRONING: The rooms DO NOT have irons. The hacienda can iron or steam any articles of clothing for you at a small cost. The price list will be hanging in your closet. Contact reception and they will send a person to your room to pick up your clothes and then when you are back in your room later in the day you can call to have them to drop it back off.
