Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

It’s never too early to let us know you’ll be here to celebrate! So, as soon as you know, we would love to know. Wedding invites will be sent out in April/May.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you are designated a "plus 1" it will be clearly outlined on your wedding invitation. We hope you understand that we have limited space and want to ensure an intimate celebration for all our guests.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request that only those who have received an invitation indicating their children's names bring them along. This allows us to make appropriate accommodations and provide an enjoyable experience for all our guests. We hope you understand and can make the necessary arrangements. It's the perfect date night!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at Hotel Indigo in Mt. Pleasant, but there are plenty of other hotel options nearby, along with a variety of AirBnB and Vrbo listings throughout the greater Charleston area. It’s the perfect opportunity for a beach getaway while celebrating our special day together!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know what your allergy or sensitivity is and we will share that with our caterer.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? Or, is there transportation available for us?

Answer

Yes! There is parking available. If you decide to drive yourself, parking for the venue is available in a designated area. A uniformed security guard will be present to facilitate parking and traffic. A golf cart will be available to shuttle people from the parking lot to the venue. However, we will also have transportation available from Hotel Indigo to the venue then back again at the end of the night. We encourage you to take the night off from driving and take advantage of our complimentary transportation! Uber is also an option!

Will the events of the wedding occur inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will occur outside (weather permitting) and our reception will occur inside. There will be cold water available throughout the pre-ceremony then, of course, the bar will be open to keep you cool during the cocktail hour!

Question

Is there a dress code for your wedding? And/or are there any specific colors I should or shouldn’t wear?

Answer

We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Bright, bold and fun colors are encouraged. No colors are off limits.
