Formal invitations will be sent out in March 2026.
There will be shuttles to Blackstone Rivers Ranch from the Golden Hotel on Saturday afternoon where the ceremony and reception takes place. We will have two waves of shuttles back to the Golden Hotel (around 10 and 11 pm). If you want to drive, there is parking at BRR, but you cannot leave your car overnight so please take that into consideration to be safe!
Colorado weather can be unpredictable - especially in the mountains! Temperatures can be in the 70s as the high and 40s/50s as a low at night. Please bring a jacket for the reception.
As much as we love all the little ones in our families, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so we will work to help provide babysitting options and however else we can help so you can make it!
If you'd like to park to meet the shuttle in Golden at the Golden Hotel there are garages nearby that are paid parking, and you shouldn't have any issues with space. Blackstone River Ranch has some parking available for the ceremony and the reception, however you cannot leave your car overnight.
Please see our schedule of the weekend for the dress code: https://www.zola.com/wedding/drewandmelanie2026/event
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in a tent. There is a pavillion on site we have access to if anyone needs to take a break indoors.
We have hired a photographer as well as a videographer to document the day, so please keep phone usage to a minimum and turn them off for the ceremony
The altitude in Golden is similar to Denver (~5500 feet). The day of the wedding in Idaho Springs the altitude is ~7500 feet. It is important to take this into consideration and mix in extra water throughout the day and evening throughout your stay!
