Question

What about COVID? UPDATE!

Answer

In line with CDC, Clatsop County, and City of Cannon Beach guidance, we request that those who are not vaccinated continue to wear masks (will be provided) and social distance throughout the event. For those who are fully vaccinated, we invite them to enjoy the wedding and reception mask-free and hugs-welcome if so desired. The wedding ceremony will still be held outdoors, however the updated CDC, county, and city guidance has enabled us to move the reception largely indoors inside the Community Hall. Dancing will remain outside on the deck. Approximately 60 people will be in attendance. Please note, many of the shops in Cannon Beach are still requiring visitors to wear masks while in their stores. Cannon Beach will be updating their guidance on June 22nd (to take effect on June 25th). Any relevant updates will be posted here on June 23rd. Thank you for your flexibility!

Question

Are the Ceremony and Reception walking distance to each other?

Answer

The ceremony is a 20 minute walk from the reception site, or a 5 minute drive.

Question

Where should I park for the wedding ceremony on the beach?

Answer

There is minimal parking on the public streets around W 7th Ave. and Oak St. near the beach access point for the ceremony. The access point is located in a residential area with street parking. We recommend keeping an eye out for “No Parking” signs in the area, as some of them are hidden around trees! You may have to park a few blocks away depending on how busy it is that day and we recommend building in travel time to find parking. Alternatively, if you want to park in downtown Cannon Beach, the access point is about a 25 minute walk from the city center.

Question

Where should I park for the wedding reception at the Chamber of Commerce Community Hall?

Answer

Parking can be sparse in downtown Cannon Beach near the Hall, but there are several public parking lots nearby. You can find them on East 2nd Street, across from and down past the Chamber of Commerce and Public Restrooms, on North Spruce Street behind Mariner Market and the U.S. Post Office, and on North Larch Street behind Schwiert’s Cones & Candy and the Local Grill and Scoop. Street parking is also available throughout the city. For larger groups, or those looking to drop passengers off before parking, there is also 10 minute parking directly in front of the Hall.
