The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM, so please arrive to the English Barn by 3:45-3:50PM to find your seats. It will be open seating!
Formal Attire (dress shirt, slacks, suit and tie, semi-formal/formal floor length dress etc.). If the weather allows, We plan to have the ceremony outside with the reception inside. We want our guests to be comfortable, so please bring coats and other warm layers if you need for an outside ceremony and cocktail hour!
The Bride and Groom should have already addressed with you a +1 prior to receiving the formal invite. The +1 that was discussed should be listed with you when RSPVing. Only the individuals attached to your RSVP are welcome to come!
If your kids are on your RSVP, then they are more than welcome to come. If you are breastfeeding that requires the child to be with you, then please reach out to either the Bride or Groom and we will have the child added! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you leave your children at home!
Yes, there is free small-medium parking lot on the venue, due to the size of the parking lot we suggest carpooling, taking a Lyft or Uber to drop you off! We ask that you please don't park on the long gravel drive way up to the venue.
YES! We have reserved room blocks at two different hotels for 11/13-11/15 under "Thorn Dobbs Wedding" : - the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel Convention Center located at 6100 College Boulevard Overland Park, KS 66211 (913-234-2100). THE DEADLINE TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION IS Saturday October 24th, 2026! Please call the Hotel above before then to get your rooms! - Holiday Inn Express and Suites Overland Park South at 16101 Shawnee Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66223. DEADLINE TO MAKE RESERVATION IS OCTOBER 16th, 2026! There are not any traditional hotels in Louisburg, KS but luckily it's not too far from Overland Park, KS and other Surrounding Cities like Olathe and Paola with several other hotels you could choose from instead!
