It all began with twinkling Christmas lights at Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls. Our first date was meant to be a simple evening walking through the light display, but we were so caught up in conversation and enjoying each other’s company that we completely lost track of time. Before we knew it, the park lights had turned off and the gates were closing — but we weren’t ready for the night to end. The conversation flowed effortlessly and lasted long after we left the park, marking the start of something truly special. Not long after, Drew invited me to spend the weekend with him. He cooked a delicious steak dinner at his home, and we spent the weekend adventuring around town, laughing, and creating memories that made it clear this was just the beginning. From that point on, we were inseparable — always finding joy in simply being together. As our relationship grew, we moved in together and started transforming the house into our home, one remodeling project at a time. Our little family grew with the addition of our two fur babies, Hazel the cat and Artemis the dog, who bring endless love (and chaos!) into our lives. Our first big adventure together took us to the mountains of Colorado, and our love for traveling and exploring new places only deepened from there. Then, during a dream trip to Italy — just before Drew’s year-long deployment — he got down on one knee along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast and asked me to be his forever. The rest, as they say, is history — and now we can’t wait to start this next chapter together as husband and wife.
