Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your RSVP specifies "and Guest," then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While this is not an adults-only wedding, we have specified on each invitation those who are invited, in accordance with our venue’s capacity.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, this will be a formal event. We kindly request that all guests adhere to a black formal dress code. In keeping with our vision for the evening, we ask that all attire be black. Gentlemen are requested to wear a black suit or tuxedo; if a suit is not preferred, a black shirt paired with black dress pants is acceptable. Ladies are kindly asked to wear a floor-length black gown; if a dress is not preferred a black blouse and black dress pants are acceptable. We also request that accessories, including belts and shoes, be black to complement the dress code.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

All guests must RSVP by May 10th, 2026. Due to the venue’s policies and dinner arrangements, guests who do not RSVP by this date and do not notify the bride and groom of their intention to attend; will unfortunately be unable to join us for the celebration.

Are there hotel room blocks available for guests?

Answer

A limited block is reserved at Hotel Blackhawk for close family and the wedding party. Rooms are first-come, first-served; please book by May 20th, 2026. For assistance or alternative accommodations, contact the bride or groom. The rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour and reception will all take place here. Guests are welcome to book a room at the venue and stay for the weekend.

What time should I arrive to the venue?

We ask that all guests arrive and be seated 30 minutes before the ceremony start time.

Answer

Yes, all registry items can be accessed through the links provided on this website. Kindly note that some links may direct you to the retailers where the items are available for purchase.

Will the event be indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception will all take place indoors at the same location.

Yes, parking is available at the venue.

Cocktail hour will be hosted, and the reception will feature a cash bar.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, Hotel Blackhawk is fully accessible in accordance with ADA standards.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be hosting a formal, plated dinner at the reception. Guests should have selected their preferred entrée when RSVPing. Dinner will be followed by dessert, dancing, and entertainment.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options available?

Answer

Yes, all dietary needs should be indicated when RSVPing. Our kitchen staff will do their utmost to accommodate each request.

Is there a kids meal?

Yes, a kids meal will be provided to all children under twelve. It can be made available to others upon request. Please indicate when RSVPing.
