Disney Springs is full of shopping and restaurants. Check out our favorite bakery, Gideon's Bakehouse! There are complimentary buses from the room block hotels to get you there. If you prefer driving, there is also a free parking garage.
Disney's Boardwalk is a fun area of restaurants and bars and does not require a park ticket. For those staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort or Pop Century, take the Disney Skyliner to Epcot (no ticket required for the boardwalk area). Once you arrive at the Epcot station, walk to the resort area and you will be right on the boardwalk!
If you want to cool down, check out Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Typically one water park is open at a time, so check before you decide. Water parks require separate tickets.
Universal Studios and Island of Adventure parks are a 20-25 minute drive away from Disney. Separate tickets to enter the parks are required. City Walk is a fun area of restaurants and entertainment right outside Universal and no ticket is required.
