We're Getting Married!

We worked for NCA for five summers before we ever spoke. We happened to share a lunch table at staff meeting where Drew mentioned he needed a new uniform design and Kodie reminded him she was a Varsity rep. We exchanged contact information and it turns out there was more to talk about than uniforms! It took eight months to make if official, but even seven hours of distance couldn't stop the inevitable. We will share our wedding with close family and friends in May, but please join us for celebration at Camp Wokanda on June 29th in Chillicothe, IL.

Drew created a puzzle, and one evening he suggested we work on it before heading out to dinner. What we thought would be a 30-minute pre-dinner project turned into two hours of working an 8x10 puzzle facedown. Boy, was it a challenge! Once completed, we flipped it over, he got down on his knee, and this crazy whirlwind began. (See below to take peak at the puzzle!)

We are so excited to share a cruise to the Bahamas with twenty-four of our close family members and friends. We will depart from Port Canaveral in Orlando, FL, on May 6th, be married on board by the ship captain May 7th, and complete the week by visiting Nassau and Coco Kay before returning to the port on the 10th of May. Afterwards, we will continue to celebrate by visiting Sea World and Disney World before returning to Dubuque, IA.
