We both moved to NYC in 2016 to follow our dreams of making it in the big apple. Through a mutual love of running, we met at a group run and became friends. After a year of being friends, we went on our first date.

On our summer vacation to Colorado, we took a hike through the Indian Peaks Wilderness. After a beautiful hike through the mountains, we ended up at Diamond Lake. Drew suggested we walk over to a waterfall feeding the lake, and although I was tired, I agreed. Lucky for me, Drew started telling me how much he loved me and being with me, and soon asked if I would "go on adventures forever" with him. I spun around to see him holding my dream engagement ring. Of course, I said yes! We celebrated our engagement by hiking the 14'er Mt. Bierstadt a few days later!
