Katie was on a girls trip with some of her very best friends and the friends thought it might be a fun idea to sign Katie up for a dating app for the first time ever. They took over her phone and created a profile for her and immediately began swiping. Meanwhile, Drew was home alone dreaming of meeting the perfect girl for him and decided to spend some time swiping as well. Luck had it that he swiped on Katie...and Katie's friends swiped on Drew. By the time Katie got her phone back, there was this handsome guy in her "matched" inbox. She said "hey", he said "hey you" (which is still her favorite phrase he says to this day). Drew politely asked for her phone number so he could ask her out on a "proper date". The rest is sort of history...here we are. ;)

It was just a rainy Sunday and Drew asked Katie if she wanted to go on a muddy hike when she got home from work. They hiked up Islay Hill in the rain and had so much fun. At the top, Drew said "come look at this view" and when Katie walked over, he knelt down on one knee and pulled out the most beautiful ring and proposed. There were lots of really sweet words and tears on Drew's part. Katie was shocked but so excited and once it set in...she cried most of the way down the hill.
