Flight

Philadelphia International Airport

We'd recommend flying to Philly if you do need to fly -- you can get an Uber or rental car to the beach from there. It's about an hour, but the ride is very common in the summer. There may be some services that offer luxury buses, etc. from the airport. There is an airport in Atlantic City, which is very close, but, it is small, and now that Spirit is gone (RIP) there are very few flights. American runs a bus from PHL to ACY which is booked as a flight on the American app (e.g. you can book a ticket from your origin to ACY and American marks PHL as a layover), and there are still some directs that run between ACY and Florida and North Carolina.
