On Saturday mornings, you're sure to bump into some of the McMillan crew as this is a favorite of Robert, Kate's grandfather.

Pam`s Restaurant

This has been Kate's parents' date night spot for 30+ years. It's also where Drew asked Kate's dad for his blessing.

Piccola Italia

Drew and Kate love museums and gardens! They visited here with two of Kate's friends from high school who also have lived in NY.

NC Museum of Art

Live, work, shop, dine, and play at North Hills. Located just down the way from the McMillans', this is a great place to check out. Kate and Drew recommend Bartaco, Rosewater, Quail Ridge Books and Kilwins.

North Hills

This is where Kate and Drew had dinner with family and friends after their ceremony in 2021.

Kate and Drew took Beasley's to the park at NC Museum of Art for a picnic date while quarantining in Raleigh.

Kate's college friends, the "MCGs," gathered for dinner over Christmas 2019 with a few of the "sigs." Drew was one of those "sigs" and can attest that everything on the menu is good. It's also a flower shop and "library."

Drew ate here with a Samford friend when he (somewhat secretly) traveled to Raleigh to ask for Kate's hand in marriage.

Local friends say this is a popular spot with lots of food options. It can be more crowded in the evenings, so it may be better as a lunch spot.

Morgan Street Food Hall

Local friends say that this food hall has a great bagel shop called Benchwarmers Bagels. Wonder how they compare to NYC bagels?! ;)

Transfer Co. Food Hall

Drive Shack

Depending on the weather, this is a fun trail to walk, run and bike.

Neuse River Greenway Trail

A fun spot where Kate and Drew had an "MCGs and Sigs" hang (Meredith College Girls). LBC is next door.
