Drew and I met in physics lab where he pretended to need help (in a class I was nearly failing)! We spent our early days studying for countless hours and eating Big Dipper ice cream, and made our relationship official on May 30, 2022. A little before our first anniversary, Drew and I began talking seriously about our future together. When we imagined our special day, we knew we were too private as a couple and busy with school for a big, expensive wedding to be practical. We spent a wonderful year secretly planning our tiny event to be exactly as we imagined it. When we finally shared our plans with a few people, our families were so supportive and excited for us to be getting what we wished for on our wedding day. We were lucky to find a beautiful venue and vendors who wanted to help out a young couple, and we pulled off our micro wedding on a budget we were comfortable with. On June 21, 2024, our closest family and friends arrived to the Missoula Public Library to throw us a surprise engagement party, but instead we surprised them by having our wedding. It was fun and intimate and we felt comfortable and natural the whole day! We are so so happy to be married, and we're so thankful for everyone's continuing love and support!
