We first met in high school on the swim team, where our friendship was built on playful teasing, laughter, and a little friendly competition. My mom, who was a swim coach, would see Drew often at practice and would always comment, “Drew looked so cute today.” Looking back, it’s clear that God was quietly guiding our paths toward each other, even before we realized it. Over the years, our friendship grew stronger. The summer before Drew started college and my senior year, we spent more time together outside of school. That’s when things began to shift—from friendship to something deeper. On August 4, 2021, after a slow dance in a parking lot, Drew asked me to be his girlfriend. That moment marked the beginning of a relationship grounded in faith, laughter, and mutual encouragement. After high school, I joined him at Bethel, and we were blessed to experience three years of college together. We cheered each other on in the pool, kept each other motivated in the classroom, and grew together in our faith. Whether it was celebrating victories, encouraging each other through challenges, or sharing quiet moments of prayer and reflection, God’s hand was always guiding our steps. Fast forward to May 2025: Drew brought me back to the very spot where he first asked me out—and this time, he asked me to be his wife. By God’s grace, I said yes! We are so thankful for how God has brought us together, for the love and laughter we share, and for the journey ahead. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of our friends and family, trusting God to continue guiding us as we start our life together.
