Vedauwoo Picnic Site
A beautiful place for hiking, picnics, or climbing. Maggie's pick! Vedauwoo is located in southeastern Wyoming along Interstate I-80, about 30 miles west of Cheyenne and/or about 20 miles east of Laramie at Exit # 329.
J's Prairie Rose
Best breakfast in Laramie! Jarek's Favorite: Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. Drew's Favorite: The Tower.
Night Heron Books & Coffeehouse
One of our favorite spots in Laramie; we go every time we are down town!
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens
Our wedding venue! You are free to explore during cocktail hour, but if you want more time, it is a beautiful place that Jarek and I both love.
Sushi boat & Korean BBQ
It may look questionable from the outside, but it's one of our favorite restaurants in Laramie! They do have options besides sushi, but our favorite is the Vegas Roll.
Centerra Parkway
Outdoor shopping center with a variety of shops and restaurants. Jarek and I love taking some time to just walk around and duck into whatever shop looks interesting.
Frontier Mall
Shopping mall in Cheyenne. A good portion of Cheyenne's shopping is close by as well.
University of Wyoming Art Museum
One of several small museums on campus. Also check out the Anthropology Museum and the Geological Museum, both are also located on campus.
Wyoming State Museum
Free museum all about Wyoming for anyone interested in history. One of several museums in Cheyenne and Laramie.
Saratoga Hot Springs Resort
An hour and a half away from Laramie, Saratoga offers several natural hot springs which visitors can soak in for a relaxing day.
Yellowstone National Park
The whole reason I moved to Wyoming, Yellowstone is about nine hours away from Laramie. If you want to spend some extra time in the West, Yellowstone has many must see destinations!
Curt Gowdy State Park
Also between Laramie and Cheyenne, Curt Gowdy offers plenty of hiking and even a waterfall.
Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site
Located here in Laramie, the Territorial Prison was once a federal prison from 1873 to 1890. It is now a historic site offering tours to discuss early prisons, the Wild West, and some of the inmates who once lived there such as Butch Cassidy.
Fort Collins
On the way from Denver to Cheyenne, Fort Collins has tons of restaurants and small shops to walk around. Colorado State University is also located here which has beautiful flower gardens. We suggest you check out the Ku Cha House of Tea, The Cupboard, and the Urban Egg.
Anong's | Thai Cuisine
