7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Dress code is warm-weather dressy casual- Graci will wear a short dress and sandals, and Drew will probably wear a short-sleeve collar shirt with khakis.
Dinner and refreshments will be kindly paid for by our families. When we get closer to the date we'll collect allergen/dietary restrictions info!
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Both the wedding ceremony and reception are "colorful black-tie optional": we'd love to see colorful suits and dresses! For weddings in El Salvador, women usually wear floor-length dresses and high heels, and men usually wear suits. That being said, wear what feels most comfortable to you-- you won't be turned away at the door!
Building this church took 40 years- from 1913 through 1953. It pays homage to the apparition of the brown-skinned Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico. Every year, on December 12th, mariachis come to the church to pay homage to the Virgin of Guadalupe with songs, dancing, and flowers. Graci grew up attending mass and weddings at this church, and it was her dream (at 5!) to get married in it. We'll be celebrating the mass in a blended Spanish-English way, so friends and family who only speak one language or the other are able to understand and participate in some manner!
Fri, Feb 16, 2024, 9:00 pm - Sat, Feb 17, 2024, 3:00 am
As with the ceremony, above, the dress code is "colorful black tie-optional." Please reach out if you have questions or want a fit check! We recommend bringing comfortable shoes for dancing, if you want!
Cocktail hour begins at 9, followed by dinner and dancing. We'll be collecting allergen/dietary restriction information as we get closer to the wedding!
11:00 am
Dress comfortably: dress code is beachy casual!
For whoever is interested, we'll be spending the day at NAWI Beach House- a small day club with a pool and beach access. The club is over-18 only, so we'll also be organizing a second option for our under-18 family members! This event is completely optional, but we hope to see you there for a day of recharging after the events of the night before!
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The dress code is "dressy beach"! The restaurant requires shoes, shirts, and no visible swimsuits for service.
Dinner will be kindly paid for by our families. We'll be having dinner by the water at one of Drew and Graci's favorite seafood restaurants- La Hola Beto's. Perched on a small cliff, the restaurant overlooks the Pacific ocean. Expect excellent Salvadoran-style seafood and (oddly!) the cheesiest, softest, most delicious pizza you'll ever try. We'll be collecting allergen/dietary restriction information when we get closer to the event.
Sat, Feb 17, 2024, 8:15 pm - Sun, Feb 18, 2024, 3:00 am
The dress code is "dressy-beach"; same as the sunset dinner event!
Bring cash for drinks! A drink at a bar will run you about $3-$5- cards ARE accepted, but not always. For our friends and over-18 family members, we'll be having a fun night of drinks and dancing in the popular Surf City/El Tunco beach area. Bring your best moves and shoes you don't mind getting sandy! This is a completely optional event, but we'd be delighted if you could join us! Other options for our older guests or those traveling with kids include more chill bar/lounge options nearby and opting out of the crowds. Note- the "end time" is just a suggestion. We'll play it by ear, but if you know us, you know we like to be in bed at a reasonable hour!
