Emmeline and Drew both went to Bordentown Regional High School, but only had about one conversation, and that conversation was an exchange of Dragon Ball Z DVDs. One of their friends that graduated the year prior that Emmeline was still close to gave them to her to give to Drew. A couple of Facebook messages later, he met her by her locker and she gave them the DVDs. Aaaaaaaand that was about the extent of their relationship in high school.

Fast forward about four years, and they reconnected through social media. Drew messaged Emmeline and after messaging each other for a couple weeks, they went on their first date! On August 5th, 2016 they went to the movies together for their first date and saw Lights Out (per Emmeline's request). After texting each other and going on dates for the next couple weeks. Drew made it official and asked Emmeline on August 28th, 2016 to be his girlfriend. According to Drew he waited until the 28th to ask her out because 28 is his favorite number and he knew that he wouldn't forget the anniversary.

On Sunday June 13th 2021, Drew and Emmeline were going to Ironplow Vineyards to celebrate his parents wedding anniversary! As they were walking around a bend, Emmeline saw their family and friends ready with their cameras, and by the time she processed what was happening, Drew was down on one knee. After slightly backing up in shock and questioning if this was actually happening she said YES! Well more so nodded because she was sobbing a little and could not find any words. It couldn’t of been more perfect.
