Our story started in 2020 at a Halloween party thrown by a mutual friend. We didn’t know it at the time, but that quick hello would become the beginning of everything. Life moved on, months passed, and then..in the most random, perfect way, our paths crossed again. In February, while I was on FaceTime with that same mutual friend, Drew overheard our conversation from the beach and asked if he could have my Snapchat. I said yes (of course), and a few days later he finally reached out. After a week of talking, he asked me to come over to watch Spider-Man. The movie played for maybe two seconds before we fell into a conversation that lasted for hours. Any awkwardness disappeared, and there was this feeling of, “Oh. This might be something.” From that night on, we’ve spent almost every day together. Drew asked me to be his girlfriend on April 15, 2021, and nearly five years later — on October 25, 2025 — he asked me to marry him. We feel so grateful for the story God has written for us, and we cannot wait to begin this next chapter surrounded by our favorite people.
