Elana's first birthday with Drew. Drew was too embarrassed to not eat the sushi so now he likes sushi.

We enjoy trying food together. Our second anniversary at the same restaurant we went to for Elana's first birthday together.

Our first anniversary at a Colombian restaurant.

Drew's first birthday with Elana at a Spanish-Japanese fusion restaurant.

Drew's second birthday with Elana at a Japanese restaurant. Can you tell we like sushi yet?

Oh also sometimes we do Jewish things.

Our first of many Passovers together. Elana was frogs and Drew was darkness.

The conversation that started it all involved Drew making things too complicated and Elana ignoring details. Nothing has changed.

Elana can't tell when Drew is playing drums so she usually ends up recording the parts where he doesn't play.

Judging by Elana's face, Drew probably dipped the bottle wrong here. At least he didn't try to open it like a Band-Aid.

We're dying here from climbing 1000+ steps. Drew says never again and means it. Elana also says never again but would probably sign up to do it again.

Elana is a huge Patriots fan. She's lucky Drew's knowledge of sports amounts to "score the points" and rooting for the Panthers to win hockey games.

Per usual Drew wants quantity but Elana wants quality. Drew caught the most fish but Elana caught the biggest.

Elana chops, cooks all potatoes, bakes, makes a mean pasta with butter, and manages the Sodastream. Drew cooks everything else which is funny when you realize he learned how to use an oven in 2020.

Drew thinks crustaceans and flightless birds are funny and Elana humors him.

Somehow we have a similar sense of humor.

We went to a Halloween party and Drew didn't take off the claws all night. Though he did still manage to throw a ball into a cup.

Greg as Pleakley from Lilo & Stitch. To Drew's disappointment Elana has vetoed Greg bringing the rings down the aisle in a tiny Roomba tuxedo.

Drew is apparently the only person who prefers chocolate cake with vanilla icing so our wedding cake will not be that.

More of that sense of humor we somehow share.

Woah, we can see the Washington Monument from here!

The phone case says "Drew" which is how we know it's Drew's phone.

One of our most memorable stories. We still never figured out how to say Slim Jim Sandwich in Mandarin.

That time we found our way through a melting ice maze.

That time Kobi scored us front row seats so Elana could read lips and Drew talked to the orchestra pit conductor.

That time Elana decided a pong table was more important than a dining room table.

That time we won tickets to a party at the Mexican embassy from a scavenger hunt. Drew drew a bad picture right before turning our scorecard in netting us enough points to beat the other teams.

That time we started in two different jail cells and did not escape but the employees felt bad for us.

That time we pretended to be Instagram influencers to get free tickets and drinks. Not sure how anyone believed that.

That time we visited a Scooby Doo episode.

That time we visited Elana's brother Lenny for the first time and Drew had to keep up with him for an entire hike through a mountain (Lenny also had a 25 lb backpack).

That time we could not keep up sea kayaking with a pair of 40-year-old women and a whale right behind us made us go faster.

Our love for adventure has grown over our time together (Gates of the Arctic National Park).

The start of our journey to visit all 63 national parks together (Yellowstone National Park).

Hiking poles help Drew not have to sit down everywhere (Kobuk Valley National Park).

This part was so small even Elana had to bend down (Mammoth Caves National Park).

New River Gorge National Park was one of our unexpected favorites.

Shenandoah National Park was our unexpected least favorite.

We enjoyed floating down Snake River (Grand Teton National Park).

We enjoyed seeing glaciers (Glacier Bay National Park).

We enjoyed seeing forests and mountains (Smoky Mountains National Park).

We enjoyed seeing bears (Katmai National Park).

Denali National Park probably had the best view.

But let's be honest. Hot Springs National Park was Drew's favorite because the main activity was getting a massage.

We also want to visit all 50 states together. Kansas had wheat fields.

Alaska had Mosquitoes and ghost towns.

Oregon had vineyards (our first time traveling together).

Kentucky had bourbon.

But Elana still won't take Drew to RIT :(.
