Drew and I met at Southeast Christian Church's college age ministry. We started out as mutual friends and didn't talk much the first 8 months or so of knowing each other. We both saw each other completely platonically, and while I remember telling my mom that I thought he was a cool guy, I never guessed we would be more than just friends. We slowly began having more conversations and getting to know each other. The first time I began to wonder if he might like me was when he seemed particularly interested in the fact that I was thinking about going on a date with another guy. He made his move quickly after that. He asked me out when we were at Heine Brothers talking about details for our upcoming group trip through Southeast. He had the audacity to oversleep and be 30 minutes late to our meet-up. I am in love with Drew's desire to grow more like Christ, his servant-heart, and his hard work ethic. The past year has flown by, with lots of pickleball, 'The Chosen' episodes, hiking, making silly videos, cooking dinner together, putt-putt, and more. I can't wait to be on mission together as a married couple to advance God's Kingdom.
