Maid of Honor
Cindy and Caroline have known each other since elementary school. They grew up in the same neighborhood in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and spent their free time biking around with their friends. As they grew older, they bonded over their love for food, crafts, DIY projects, and all things cute. Over the past few years, Cindy has made a career out of her artistic talents and is not only working as a graphic designer in Dallas, Texas, but also has a successful Etsy business as a side hustle. Caroline has been bouncing wedding ideas off of Cindy since she got engaged, and is so excited to have her navigate this wedding planning journey as her Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Caroline met Jess on the first day of orientation during pharmacy school and knew pretty soon that they would become good friends. They shared a love for baking extravagant desserts, enjoying good food and good drinks, and taking advantage of every second of sunshine they were given in Seattle. They spent their time in school procrastinating their schoolwork, drinking too many glasses of wine, trying out new restaurants, biking to breweries, and being amateur hikers. Jess was around when Caroline and Drew first awkwardly and secretly started dating. Now Jess is kicking ass and saving lives as a clinical pharmacist for a hospital in Seattle.
Bridesmaid
Caroline and Paige met in pharmacy school and in between the studying, pizza parties, and flabongos, discovered that they both (sometimes) enjoyed running. Since starting pharmacy school, they have done multiple half marathons together, and even drunkenly convinced each other to complete a marathon together. Paige has been a constant source of fun and entertainment since they met and is always the life of every party. She has the best, and sometimes the worst, dance moves, and will make sure to keep the party going at Caroline's wedding reception... just don't let her karaoke after she has a few drinks in her.
Officiant
Hailing from the fertile valley of Yakima, Washington (aka the Palm Springs of Washington), officiant William first met Caroline and Drew in pharmacy school, and he won them over immediately when he suggested they go out for beers during lunch on the very first day. Since then, Will and his wife Cassandra have been two of Drew and Caroline's closest friends. From hosting countless boozy board game nights, to trekking out into the woods to chop down the two saddest Christmas trees you've ever seen, Will and Cass are always a blast to be around. William is a man of many talents and is well-liked by anyone he meets, so we are lucky to have him officiating the ceremony and are confident that he will knock it out of the park.
Groomsman
Erik first met Drew in passing at the computer lab at Cal Poly. They were taking the same class and about to take an exam, and when Drew commented on how unprepared he was, Erik offered up his notes to the then stranger. It’s these random acts of kindness that make Erik such a good friend. When Drew and Erik ended up at the same pharmacy school at UW later that fall, they finally got to know each other much better and have been close friends ever since. Erik is well known for his dance moves and we are looking forward to the inevitable Paige vs Erik groomsman vs bridesmaid dance off at the reception.
Best Man
Drew and Andy have known each other since college where they were teammates and neighbors for years. They never played doubles together on the tennis court, but more importantly, they were partners for countless weekend beer pong tournaments. They have managed to stay close over the years despite multiple out of state moves on both sides. Even with a busy schedule, Andy always puts in the extra effort to get everyone together, and he will make a great best man on wedding day.
Groomsman
Alex and Drew have known each other since their first year at Cal Poly. Being both the new incoming freshman on the tennis team as well as the only two nerds majoring in Biology, Drew and Alex became close friends through freshman hazing and countless hours in the library together. Once, Alex even fell asleep standing up outside Drew’s house. Now, Drew can’t wait to have Alex standing next to him (hopefully awake) as a groomsman when he marries Caroline next April.
