FAQs

Covid-19 has put a little damper on our original plans, but we will not let it ruin our weekend of celebrations! Please read below for any Covid-19 related questions and please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you other questions!
Question

Will I be able to attend the wedding ceremony at Canterbury?

Answer

There are Covid-19 guidelines/restrictions on the number of guests we are allowed to have for the ceremony at Canterbury United Methodist. We are limited to family only at this time.

Question

Should I still come to the church if I am not family?

Answer

Guests are welcome to wait outside the church for the recessional. We know it is July in Alabama, so that might be a hot option. All guests are welcome at the reception, please feel free to head straight there if you'd like!

Question

Are masks required for the event?

Answer

For Jefferson County guidelines, masks are required in the lobby, elevators, stairs, and other public areas. Please make sure to have a mask on when walking in the lobby and up to the reception area. Masks are NOT required to be worn once you are in the reception area (on the 2nd floor). *If any guest would feel more comfortable wearing a mask in the reception area, please do so!
