A Harry Potter wedding? Does that mean I have to wear a costume?

Answer

Absolutely not! We want you to wear whatever you feel best in, whether that’s a suit, dress or dress robes. That being said, we know a lot of people share our love for all things HP and are excited about the chance to wear something a little different. While we'd prefer people to look dress code appropriate, we would love to see outfits that would fit right in at Bill & Fleur's wedding or the Yule Ball! In the UK, fascinators are a must for weddings, so if you have one you've been wanting to wear, this would be a great opportunity. Wearing your house colors could be another great way to show off your house pride!

Cocktail attire suggested, Wizarding Formal (or Dress Robes) encouraged!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love little ones, due to venue capacity the wedding will be adults only.

What’s for dinner?

Answer

Pasta primavera (vegan), veggie lasagna and portobello pizza caps (GF). Pastas, salads, breadsticks. Most importantly: an obscene amount of cake.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired professional photographers and would like to see your face in our photos instead of your device! We invite you to enjoy the moment and please refrain from taking photos/videos during the ceremony and first dance. After the first dance is over, please take as many pictures as you wish!

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! The wedding is being held at Pere Marquette Lodge and we have reserved all of the rooms and cabins. Please see the “Lodging” page for more information.

Which house are Britnee and Drew in?

Answer

Britnee is in Ravenclaw and Drew is in Gryffindor. Britnee’s patronus is a Manx cat and Drew’s patronus is, appropriately, a field mouse.

Answer

While you are certainly welcome to find your house, in the interest of unity guests will be divided among house tables at random.

Is anyone changing their name?

Answer

Yes! After they both considered many options, Britnee has decided to take Drew’s last name.
