Question

What should I wear?!

Answer

We can't wait to see our guests dressed up! The dress code is coastal, black-tie preferred. Long dresses and suits/tuxes encouraged. Coastal colors!! Any shade of blue, green, yellow, champagne, gold encouraged but not required. Please be aware of a possible ocean-breeze or chill. If you need any help with outfit ideas, please reach out to Becca and she'd be happy to help.

Are the ceremony and reception taking place at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Everything from the ceremony to after party will take place at La Playa Hotel in Carmel, CA. We are so excited to share our special day with you with spectacular views of the ocean.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the outside courtyard, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will be outside/inside on the terrace, followed by dinner and dancing indoors. The terrace will be accessible throughout the night for photos, breathers, mingling, etc!

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

There is a small, first-come first-serve parking lot at the hotel. There is also ample nearby street parking.

Are children invited?

Answer

We kindly request that this be an adults only event with the exception of immediate family. We hope that allows everyone to have a fun date night.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love for our guests to be fully present in the moment with us, so we are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that our guests silence their phones and refrain from photos and videos during the ceremony. Please take photos and videos ALL night before/after the ceremony.
