We're getting married!

It is not the most traditional love story, but it is by far our most favorite story. Drew and Alisa never met before they "met". They had mutual friends on Facebook, yet never knew either one was right around the corner. Drew was the first one to initiate conversation and after non stop text bubbles later, they decided to finally meet in person. From that point on, 7 plus years later, they never stopped talking (mainly Alisa). They are beyond excited to celebrate on their 8 year anniversary, marriage to one another!

Talk about blindsided. Alisa had absolutely NO idea this was going to happen. They booked their Hilton Head vacation months in advance, along with family, to surprise one of Drew's aunts for her 75th birthday. Drew’s uncle had the surprise planned out at their resort, so everyone knew exactly what time and where to be. Surprise #1 went perfectly! A band they all love was performing, toes in the sand, a full moon and lots of dancing was taking place. Drew had only told a couple of his uncles about the proposal but he also did not know how or when this was going to take place. Well, one of his aunts suggested Drew sing/play a song with the band. Drew instantly thought of an idea. Make it seem like to the whole family, including Alisa, that he was going to perform when in actuality, he was planning on proposing. Alisa busted out her cell phone, sat right in front to record what she did not know was going to be her proposal. It was magical! No one will ever know if Alisa truly said yes that night since no one could hear through all the "OMG" and "YAY"s taking place. Alisa was shocked and remained shocked for the rest of the vacation but it was the perfect way to celebrate, on the beach. And another favorite story of theirs.
