Thirteen years ago, a little girl moved in to the Menomonie congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. That was Morgan, aged seven. Drew, only nine years old at the time, was immediately crushing on the new girl. Morgan, cluelessly, loved the boy in innocence. As time passed, however, Morgan began to realize that she had real feelings for the boy, and the both of them held those feelings for years, even after Morgan eventually moved away. When Morgan moved back, everything changed. Now old enough and mature enough for a real relationship, they nervously and awkwardly let each other know they were still interested in each other. Drew was the first to speak up. After getting permission from Morgan’s father, Drew asked her to begin dating. She very excitedly accepted.
