We are finally having a marriage ceremony!

So in case, ya'll haven't heard the story on how we first met. Let me tell you, my intentions were to find places to hike and trails to explore in North Carolina. Not meet a guy and get married. That's when the bumble dating app came to mind. It was my way of trying to get to know at least one single person since I moved there after my aunt passed away from progressive ovarian cancer. I took a job position that was supposed to be in oncology 1st shift but actually ended up being three 12's in the ER on 3rd shift. Yay gotta love the medical field. So yeah, I threw myself into a new place where I knew no one and nothing just for the fun and thrill of it all. Well... till this day I still think that this was gods way to tell me everything was going to be okay and I'm going to guide you. It was like he had an exact plan for me to meet this guy named Drew Smoker who is dreamy, has amazing blue eyes and the most amazing smile. Oh yeah, and he loved all the exact things that I love. I still remember how we first met, I of all people did all the talking. I had no idea what he was thinking. Truthfully, I was a nervous wreck and I thought maybe this guy thinks I'm nuts for randomly messaging him on some dating app for some info on a nearby trail. Also, if you were wondering about this random trail we met up at it wasn't secluded. Thank god, because I really thought I was going to get murdered and I thought why in the world would I do something this dangerous. Truth is... it was this or go beyond my comfort zone and start finding random people on the street to tell me where all the NC trails are. I could ask them to come to join me but it was so much easier to find an adventurous person on social media and not guess if the random person on the street was adventurous or not. Anyways, I thought to myself when I tapped on Drew's bumble profile "well, let's risk the chances with this guy he looks like Captain America, plus he looks adventurous." Till this day, I feel blessed.
