I had started my first job at Chick-fil-A in 2017 which I wasn't to stoked about, being it wasn't my first choice. A few months in and I see Jordan and almost all the employees know of him. I started getting curious as to why so many people knew him, and someone said (possibly him) that he worked here. I was very confused and didn't know if they were joking since I had not once seen him work there since I started, and I worked every day and had my fair shares of morning and night shifts. A little later I started getting put on dining room cleaning more frequently, and it started to get old, I noticed Jordan coming in more often as a regular, and he would make some sly remarks to me. We made conversation here and there, and then I started to show more interest in him. One day we were talking, and he asked me if I would like to work out with him, and if he could get my number to make a plan for that. At first, I just thought that was a slick way to get my number and I didn't mind if we did workout. We started texting and talking more after my shifts, and Jordan started coming in a lot around the time my shifts ended. We eventually hung with each other outside Chick-fil-A and then were pretty much inseparable. At one point, I mentioned I had never been on a date. He just had to take me on one after that was said. We got to know each other more and then became official June 15th, 2018 at Modestos.....and well,.. now were here! -Kaylee
The time had finally come to propose. I had saved up enough money to get Kaylee an engagement ring. My mother and I then went to several jewelers before I found the one I knew was for her. Now all I had to do was wait for the day of our 3-year anniversary. When June 15th came around, I was so excited, I treated her to our traditional dinner at Modesto's, having our classic chicken parmesan and a new delicious affogato dessert. After our dinner, I then took her to places where we shared some of our first dates. The last place being where we had our first kiss on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I had kept the ring hidden on my person throughout the whole day, and now the time to reveal it was near. I led Kaylee out to the overlook, put my arm around her, and told her how much she meant to me and how lucky I was to have her. I then turned to her, kneeled down, and presented the ring to her, asking, "Kaylee Brooke Drawdy, will you marry me?", she exclaimed, "Yes, of course, I would love to!". My proposal was a success! - Jordan
