Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Look under the "Travel" tab for our hotel block. They are both in Joliet, IL, which is closer to the reception site than the ceremony site. If you so choose, you may also find something closer to the ceremony site in the city - maybe Oak Park, IL - but we are not getting a hotel block there.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at both the ceremony and reception. Carpooling is recommended, especially if you are coming to the ceremony. Ceremony: you can park in the lot for Chicago Jesuit Academy, which can be found just east of Christ the King College Prep on Jackson. Reception: Coal City Area Club is an open recreational area, so there is plenty of parking there as needed.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

No. Just from the hotels to and from the reception.

That's a long time between your ceremony and reception! What should we do in the meantime?

Answer

Head over to the "Things to Do" tab - we've got a bunch of restaurants listed there (some a little closer to the ceremony site, others a little further). Feel free to pick one and head out to lunch prior to heading to Coal City for the reception.
