I'll never forget the day I saw Katie walking across our church courtyard with her beautiful smile, big purse, and cup of coffee. I remember looking to my friend who was standing next to me and saying "she is the one bro!" From that day forward, I was fully invested in getting to know who she was. After a few awkward encounters I finally mustered the courage to ask her out on a date. Come to find out we have been apart each others lives from and early age. Our parents actually worked with each other and were good friends. Instantly, I knew God had brought us together and now I am honored to get to share the rest of my life with my best friend and the woman of my dreams. It felt like I knew him somehow but I know I never met him (I would’ve definitely remembered that). After a lot of very very awkward conversations, it turns out we were connected through our parents, his mom worked with my dad and I would talk to her all the time when I was young. We eventually got better at having conversations and I was completely hooked. I knew God had brought us together even when we were young, God was working out his plan for us.
