We met at a Cajun restaurant called "Scends", but not immediately. As long as I was going to scends, I never really recognized him, but he did recognized me. I though at first that it was an illusion that some one was watching me on a constant basis. As time went on, we both didn't know we have been friends with the same person for years. When this person introduced us, history took its course. We began dating and waiting for the right time to see what comes out of this, but as time flourished, we realized that we were meant to be together, I was for him and he was for me. Though our fears of the heart was there, we both stood strong and claimed one another as well as knew it could have only been in "God's Plan"...... he's our strength.
On a Saturday morning after talking about being married for over a year, he took me to South-land Mall to "Kay Jewelry" and asked me to choose the ring I would want for an engagement ring. Me being so particular, saw the ring I wanted but didn't realize that day was the day of his proposal! In the jewelry store, he got on one knee in front of all those people and proposed to me "will you marry me, because I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you" I first stood there in shock, saying to myself he's serious and "SHOUTED YES". With that being said, our lives have changed, looking forward to our family and friends sharing one of the most important moment in our lives "THE ROYAL WEDDING" see you guys at the King and Queen court in Oakland, CA.
