For years, Warren and Ashley devoted their lives to the performing arts, embracing the spirit of the HBCU tradition. Dr. Warren is an alumnus of Alabama State University and a visionary band leader, while Ms. Ashley is an esteemed graduate of the illustrious Spelman College, extraordinary dance professional, and a member of the Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc. In 2021, God's divine timing brought them together to create a thriving band program in Atlanta, Georgia, as they both pursued and received degrees of higher education from thee Liberty University. As the current Vice President of the Atlanta Alumni Association of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, Ashley and Warren's connection grew out of their shared passion for the performing arts, community engagement, service, and stewardship. Their bond was strengthened in 2024 by their unwavering passion for the Lord, expressed through praise and worship. Dr. Warren, the minister of music at Gaines Chapel A.M.E. Church, leads with joy, while Ashley sings in the Sanctuary Choir, together enriching their community with their faith and music. Their journey of love reflects a synchronized choreography of artistic harmony and shared dreams, culminating in a breathtaking performance on New Year’s Eve 2024. As the world prepared to strike a new chord for the coming year, Dr. Warren stepped off the podium to conquer his most important role yet. As the clock struck midnight, he asked Ms. Ashley to be his wife, his rhythm for life, and her "Yes" became their first dance to a lifetime of music. Now, Dr. Warren L. Williams has been honored to take on his newest role, leading the Marching Crimson Pipers at Tuskegee University as they prepare for their greatest song of all, Holy Matrimony. While Warren sets the tempo, Ashley provides the grace, creating the perfect combination for their unique symphony.
