Chatham is an upscale, walkable town with lots of great shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend spending time on Main Street, if you have an extra few hours in your day! There is a parking lot on Main Street right after the rotary at Old Harbor Road (behind St. Christopher's Episcopal Church).
Harwichport is a smaller walkable town, but with lots of amazing offerings! There are great cafes, stores, and family-friendly stops along the way. This is one of our favorite places to spend an afternoon close-by. Some of our favorite spots are Sativa (cute knick knack shop), Murphy's General Store, Hot Stove Saloon, 3 Monkeys, and Cape Roots. There is a parking lot where Main Street meets Schoolhouse Road, but it can fill up later in the evening.
