We’re finally doing it!

We met the old fashioned way…an online dating app! Like any other modern digital romance story, we talked for a while on the app before meeting. We were on separate coasts at the time (Brian was in Oregon on a trip). He came home from his trip early so we could go out on our first date. As we were speaking in person, we discovered we grew up 5 minutes from each other, both were in high school marching band and had the same friend group, but somehow our paths did not cross. The rest, is history!

Our closest family met us at the Lehigh Valley Zoo where we were set up to feed to the otters before the zoo opened. We met the keeper, the otters, and were setting up enrichment for them. The zookeeper left to grab a painting Luani the otter had made for us. He showed the picture Luani painted and written on it was “Will you marry me?” Yes, of course!!
