Is there a dress code?

Yes! We would love for our guests to wear formal attire- think garden party, spring & summer colors hues!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony no later than 3:50 PM.

Can I arrive to the reception before 6:00 pm?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be a short break before the reception begins at 6:00 PM. This is a great time to explore charming downtown Fernandina- grab a drink, enjoy the local spots, or simply relax. If you plan on drinking, we encourage using Lyft/Uber or Daniel's Transportation to get to the reception safely. Please also allow extra time for parking, as Memorial Day Weekend can be busy. We can't wait to celebrate with you at the reception!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors at the churh, but the reception will be outdoors. The cocktail hour will be held on the front porch of the Lesesne House, with dinner and dancing to follow in the back garden/courtyard!

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so please no phones or cameras! We look forward to our guests being fully present as we say "I do" and have hired a wonderful team to capture this moment.

What about parking?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the church. However, downtown parking may be busy due to Memorial Day weekend. We recommend parking at your hotel/rental and taking an Uber/Lyft or a taxi. Daniel Transportation (904) 261-5824 is a reputable transportation company if you choose this route.
