Drake and Sydney met in March of 2024. Sydney and Megan were going to transfer bases from Las Vegas to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Plans were so concrete Megan didn’t renew the lease on her car. The base wasn’t scheduled to open for several months but Megan still needed something to get around town. They went into Carter Power Sports looking for a moped. Drake was their amazing sales man. Sydney was impressed with his impeccable beard, less by his hair. He told Sydney, he’d see her the next day. Internally he was hoping she would come back since he didn’t get her number the first day. Drake was absolutely right. After a night of riding Megan’s new bike she needed one of her own. Drake happily helped Sydney decide on her own. The only problem was Sydney had no idea how to actually drive her brand new mini motorcycle. She asked Drake if he’d be willing to drop it off at her place; he was. He taught her how to ride it in the parking lot. Since he road her bike to her, she got to drive him back to the shop. A good plan on both of their parts. The entire ride back they both mentioned getting dinner somewhere near by. A week later their first date was planned! Now two years later their wedding is planned!
